Terms of Service

Last updated: May 30, 2026

These Terms of Service explain the rules for using Freakyyy Letters, a digital letter-writing and publishing service operated by Freakyyy Ltd.

By using Freakyyy Letters, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Who We Are

Freakyyy Letters is operated by:

Freakyyy Ltd
Company No: 17243005
Registered address: 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom
Email: support@freakyyy.com

In these Terms, “Freakyyy Letters”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Freakyyy Ltd.

2. What Freakyyy Letters Is

Freakyyy Letters allows users to write, save, submit, and, where approved, publish digital letters.

Letters may be:

  • Public letters, which may appear on the public archive after approval;
  • Private letters, which are accessible only through a direct link;
  • Sealed letters, which may remain hidden until a selected unlock date;
  • Permanent letters, which may be stored using third-party permanent storage technology after payment and approval.

We may add, remove, or change features at any time.

3. Account Registration

Some features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login details secure.

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these Terms, abuse the service, attempt to bypass moderation, or create risk for other users or Freakyyy Letters.

4. Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use Freakyyy Letters.

If you are under 18, you should only use the service with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Do not use Freakyyy Letters to submit content involving minors, private information about minors, sexual content involving minors, or any content that may put a child at risk.

5. User Content

You keep ownership of the letters and content you submit.

By submitting content to Freakyyy Letters, you give us permission to store, display, moderate, publish, format, reproduce, and distribute that content as needed to operate the service.

For public letters, this includes permission to show the letter in the public archive and related pages.

For private letters, this includes permission to store the letter and make it accessible through its private link.

For sealed letters, this includes permission to store the letter and make it accessible after the selected unlock date, subject to moderation and technical availability.

You are responsible for the content you submit.

6. Moderation

Freakyyy Letters is a moderated service.

Submitting a letter does not guarantee that it will be published, preserved, or made visible.

We may approve, reject, hide, edit formatting, remove, or restrict access to content at our discretion, especially where content appears to breach these Terms, create legal risk, harm another person, or abuse the purpose of the service.

We do not promise to review submissions within a specific time.

7. Prohibited Content

You must not submit content that:

  • Is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or defamatory;
  • Encourages violence, self-harm, exploitation, or illegal activity;
  • Contains hate speech or targeted abuse;
  • Contains sexual content involving minors or any content that may endanger children;
  • Reveals someone else’s private information without permission;
  • Impersonates another person or misleads readers about identity;
  • Infringes copyright, trademarks, privacy rights, or other rights;
  • Contains spam, scams, malware, phishing links, or automated abuse;
  • Attempts to manipulate, attack, overload, or bypass the service;
  • Creates legal, safety, or reputational risk for Freakyyy Letters or others.

We may remove content even if it is not specifically listed above.

8. Anonymous and Private Letters

Freakyyy Letters may allow anonymous or private submissions.

However, “anonymous” does not mean we collect no technical or account information. We may still process information such as email address, account details, IP address, browser data, payment status, moderation status, and technical logs where needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

Private letters are not guaranteed to be absolutely confidential. Anyone with the private link may be able to access the letter.

Do not submit information that you cannot risk being seen, copied, shared, indexed, leaked, or preserved.

9. Permanent Letters

Freakyyy Letters may offer a paid “permanent” option.

Permanent storage may involve third-party storage technology, including blockchain or decentralised storage systems such as Arweave.

If a letter is stored permanently, it may be impossible for us or you to fully delete, edit, hide, reverse, or remove it from the permanent storage network.

You should not use the permanent option for content that contains private, sensitive, harmful, unlawful, defamatory, copyrighted, or third-party personal information.

We may refuse to make a letter permanent even after payment if it fails moderation or creates risk.

10. Payments

Paid features may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe.

Prices will be shown before checkout.

You are responsible for ensuring that the letter you submit is accurate and appropriate before payment.

Payment does not guarantee publication, approval, permanence, visibility, traffic, emotional outcome, or any specific result.

11. Cancellation and Refunds

For paid permanent letters, you may cancel within the cancellation period stated at checkout or in the relevant product flow, provided the letter has not already been approved, processed, or submitted for permanent storage.

Once a letter has been approved and sent for permanent storage, cancellation and deletion may no longer be possible.

Where Freakyyy Letters currently offers a five-day cancellation window after admin approval, that cancellation window applies only before the letter is permanently stored. If permanent storage has already been completed, we may not be able to reverse it.

Refunds may be refused where:

  • The service has already been delivered;
  • Permanent storage has already been initiated or completed;
  • The user submitted prohibited content;
  • The user breached these Terms;
  • The payment was fraudulent, abusive, or disputed in bad faith.

This does not affect any consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Third-Party Services

Freakyyy Letters may use third-party services for hosting, authentication, database storage, email delivery, analytics, payments, and permanent storage.

These third parties may include services such as Supabase, Stripe, Vercel, Arweave, email providers, or similar infrastructure providers.

We are not responsible for outages, delays, errors, data loss, or policy changes caused by third-party services.

13. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep Freakyyy Letters available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

We may also update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will apply when posted on the website.

14. Intellectual Property

Freakyyy Letters, including its name, design, branding, interface, code, structure, graphics, and platform features, belongs to Freakyyy Ltd or its licensors.

You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, scrape, clone, or exploit the service without written permission.

You retain ownership of your own submitted letters, subject to the licence you grant us to operate the service.

15. No Professional Advice

Freakyyy Letters is for expression, storytelling, memory, and communication.

It is not therapy, legal advice, financial advice, medical advice, crisis support, or professional counselling.

If you are in danger, in crisis, or considering harming yourself or someone else, contact local emergency services or a qualified crisis support organisation immediately.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Freakyyy Ltd is not liable for:

  • Loss of data, letters, links, access, or account information;
  • Emotional distress caused by writing, reading, sharing, publishing, rejecting, or preserving letters;
  • Third-party access to private links;
  • Search engine indexing, screenshots, copies, reposts, or external sharing;
  • Permanent storage that cannot be reversed;
  • Third-party service failures;
  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Freakyyy Ltd harmless from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the service, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

18. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Freakyyy Letters if we believe you have breached these Terms, created risk, abused the service, or violated applicable law.

You may stop using the service at any time.

Some content, especially public or permanent content, may remain available after account closure if it has already been published, shared, archived, backed up, or stored permanently.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where consumer protection law gives you mandatory rights in another location.
